Wyke has quickly established himself as a fans' favourite at the Northern Commercials Stadium after the Bantams moved to sign him from Carlisle United on transfer deadline day in January 2017. A Middlesbrough academy graduate, he never made a first team appearance and after loan stints at Kettering, Hartlepool United and AFC Wimbledon, he signed for Carlisle United on a free transfer in January 2015.
