Bantams defender Carl McHugh was given a nice surprise when he visited the Bradford Marie Curie Hospice last week.
McHugh, originally from the Republic of Ireland, was presented with two boxes of his favourite crisps as a reminder of home.
Marie Curie Corporate Fundraiser, Brian Curran had read that Carl missed a few home comforts, including Tayto crisps, and thought it would be a surprise to present him with some.
Tayto crisps support Marie Curie in Northern Ireland and were happy to send a couple of boxes over for Carl.
During his visit, McHugh was shown round the hospice and met many of the patients and staff.
Carl, who was keen to redistribute the crisps to staff, visitors and patients said,” I don’t think our fitness coaches would be too happy for me to eat so any crisps so I was delighted to donate them back to the hospice.”
