The football club would like to confirm to any interested parties that a key job role within the club's Youth Department has now become available.
The Youth Department at the Coral Windows Stadium is actively recruiting a new Head of Youth Recruitment to work closely with the club's current academy set-up.
The successful applicant will be given the main task of heading up the academy's scouting team.
This will require them to promote the excellent work currently being undertaken by City's academy set-up when attempting to bring new players into the football club. For avoidance of doubt, this would be for the Under 8 to Under 16 age groups at the club.
They will also be asked to develop strong links within the community and grass-roots junior football clubs. Part of this task will involve developing and managing a small team of scouts.
In order for the successful applicant to fully fulfil the advertised role correctly, they will need to be comfortable with computers and the required reporting systems within the recruitment structure as well.
