Bantams boss Phil Parkinson says he is focused solely on getting City back to winning ways against Swindon Town this Sunday.

The Bantams entertain Mark Cooper's Robins at the Coral Windows Stadium this weekend only three days after City's Boxing Day defeat at the hands of Rotherham United.

The loss to the Millers moved City down to eleventh in the Sky Bet League 1 table and eight points from the Play-Off places.

Talk of league positions and Play-Offs spots is irrelevant at the moment as far as Parkinson is concerned though, he simply wants to get the Bantams back in the winner's circle once again.

Parkinson remarked: "I'm not even thinking of the Play-Offs at the moment to be honest. All we have to think about right now is getting the side back winning again.

"Perhaps our great start to the season may have allowed some people to get a bit carried away but we can only look at getting a win from Sunday - that is the most important thing right now.

"Of course we want to get back up there (into the top six) but first we need to get the show back on the road again.

"We've have some great times over the last eighteen months, times we have all enjoyed, but now we're going through a bit of a difficult period and we need everyone to pull together.

"As a group of staff and a group of players, that's what we'll be doing, and I'm sure the fans will be doing the same for us come Sunday (vs Swindon).

"As any football supporter will know, it is all about sticking with your team through thick and thin. We all must do that now - fans, players and staff - and be ready for one big effort on Sunday.

"We know we will have to roll up our sleeves, put in a very committed display, and play with a little bit more quality on the ball than we did against Rotherham."

James Hanson is back at the club's training ground after being troubled by a virus last week. He is still a doubt for Sunday's fixture with Swindon, however, due to the same calf problem that has ruled him out of City's last two fixtures.

Andy Gray also remains doutbful for Sunday as he continues to be affected by a dead leg.

Along with Gray and Hanson, Parkinson also has some other knocks and niggles to access pre-match after a couple of the squad, including Oliver McBurnie, took whacks during the Rotherham game.
