Following their stay in Ireland, City's pre-season schedule next sees them travel to Blundell Park this Tuesday (23 July) to play Grimsby Town in a friendly fixture.

The match will be City's penultimate friendly of the summer before the big kick off of their SkyBet League 1 campaign at Bristol City on Saturday 3 August.

With the start of the new season drawing ever closer, Bantams boss Phil Parkinson is likely to give some of his players longer on the pitch than in previous friendlies.

Parkinson has normally substituted pretty much everyone of his starters in City's three pre-season games so far, but some of his starting eleven may be allowed to go the full distance against the Mariners.

After missing Saturday's win at Bohemians with minor injuries, the trio of trialist Raffaele De Vita, Ricky Ravenhill and James Meredith are all doubtful to participate in Tuesday's match.

Carl McHugh is another who could possibly miss out after recently nursing a slight hip problem.

With Parkinson likely to err on the side of caution regarding any troublesome injuries in this squad, apprentice duo Jack Stockdill and Niall Heaton are likely to make the journey east after playing their part on the recent trip to Ireland.

Tuesday's match is scheduled to be a return to Blundell Park for Alan Connell after a highly successful 2010/2011 campaign at Grimsby for the City striker.

Connell netted an impressive 29 goals in all competitions for the Blue Square Bet Premier side during that particular season to help him collect their Player of the Year award and top scorer mantle.

Grimsby themselves have a number of former Bantams currently in their ranks, with Ross Hannah, Scott Kerr, Joe Colbeck and Scott Neilson all likely to be familiar to the travelling Bradford support.

City supporters will be housed in the Osmond Stand covered corner at Grimsby. This particular stand can be accessed via Harrington Street.

Admission prices for the friendly will be:

Adults: £10.00

Concessions: £5.00*

*Concessionary tickets must be purchased from Grimsby's Ticket Office.

The football club would like to kindly remind fans that Tuesday's kick off is scheduled for the slightly earlier time of 7:30pm.
