Mindful that not all fans may have had the opportunity to see the lush green of Valley Parade, Bantams Player this week showed video footage of the current encouraging progress on the Coral Windows Stadium playing surface.
With a month to go before City's one and only home pre-season friendly against Doncaster Rovers (Saturday 27 July 2013), the pitch at the Coral Windows Stadium is looking in stunning condition and almost ready for action already.

"Last summer we also completed the outer two sections with the same treatment and additional drainage, and the result was that we had no water-logging, despite several situations of monsoon type rain 24 hours before games."
"The playing surface also had a small amount of additional punishment with some reserve games being staged on it, the extra-time matches and some training sessions when conditions stopped the team using Apperley Bridge."
Mr Owen added: "At the end of the season we were told that we were rated the fourth best playing surface in League 2, based on the match officials reports. We also receive a lot of positive comment from visiting managers, including Arsne Wenger, who should know a thing or two about pitches given the bowling green at The Emirates."
"Our groundsman, Mick Doyle, said this time last year that the upcoming season would see an even better surface as the new grass from last year is very deeply rooted, a luxury we never had before in recent times.
The proof of this soon showed when, within ten days of our Play-Off home leg semi-final with Burton Albion the whole of the playing area, including the goal mouths were grassed over again."
"The investment we have made in recent years looks like paying off. We have spent a fraction on the playing area this year which frees up more of the overall budget for the playing side.
"There is still work on-going, but come our game with Doncaster on 27th July we should really be pitch perfect. In addition, the reduction in night games this season will give Mick more time for repairs and come the end of the season I will be looking for more positives."
