Songs for Wembley!

15 May 2013

Two sets of City supporters have produced Wembley songs to mark City's second trip of the season to the national stadium for this weekend's npower League 2 Play-Off Final with Northampton Town.

Following up from their first song 'Let's get ready for Wembley' - made ahead of City's appearance in the Capital One Cup Final back in February - Bantams Banter duo 'Tom and Dom' have come up with another tune to get fans in the mood for this Saturday.

After using Ant and Dec's famous nineties hit 'Let's get ready to rumble' as inspiration for their first song, the Bantams Banter boys have used the classic 'It's a jolly holiday with Mary' - taken from the Walt Disney film Mary Poppins - as the base for their new track.

The video to 'It's a jolly holiday at Wembley' can be viewed by supporters right now by clicking the link HERE.

The second Wembley-related song hoping to get City fans revved up ahead of their trip to Wembley is a remake of The Clash's 'London Calling'.

Performed by Olds Cool, the video to 'Bradford's Calling' can also be watched by fans by clicking the link HERE.

The video features Lenny The City Gent, Billy Bantams and even Sky Sports reporter Richard Graves!

Olds Cool will actually be performing their City song at the Black Swan Pub on Thornton Road in Bradford tonight (Wednesday) from 6:30pm.

With only three days to go until the Play-Off Final, it will surely be the perfect way for Bradford fans to get in the mood for Wembley Stadium!
