Garry Thompson has returned to City's starting line up as Bantams boss Phil Parkinson makes one change from the side that begun last weekend's F.A Cup tie at Rotherham United.
Thompson replaces Raffaele De Vita, who moves down to the bench, meaning the former Scunthorpe and Morecambe attacker will begin the game from the Bantams' right flank.
Along with the recall for Thompson, Parkinson has brought forwards Caleb Folan and Alan Connell back onto his bench for the visit of Coventry City.
With Folan and Connell among City's substitutes, it means there are no places in the Bantams' match eighteen for either Carl McHugh or Oliver McBurnie.
