City defender Rory McArdle was an unused substitute for Northern Ireland in their friendly fixture with Turkey this Friday evening.
McArdle was named on the bench for the match in the Turkish city of Adana but did not enter the field during a keenly-contested encounter.
A single goal from Turkey's Mevlut Erdinc in first half injury time was enough to settle the match in the favour of the hosts.
