After being given permission by City to play in cup competitions during the loan period, Swain joins up with Guiseley in time to take his place in their squad for this Saturday's F.A Cup Second Round Qualifying match with near neighbours Bradford (Park Avenue).
Swain has ironically just left Park Avenue after completing a similar loan period with the Bradford club.
The 19 year-old striker signed his first pro contract with the Bantams - a one-year deal - this summer after progressing through the club's youth ranks.
Despite his promotion up into the senior squad though, Swain has yet to make his first team debut for the club.
He was named on the bench for City's Captial One Cup Fourth Round tie at Wigan Athletic and their F.A Cup with Budweiser First Round replay against Northampton Town last season.
