Tranmere game moved again

20 September 2013

Following recent supporter feedback, Bradford City have decided to listen to their fans’ reaction by moving the club's forthcoming Sky Bet League 1 home fixture against Tranmere Rovers to Sunday 13 October 2013 - kick-off 3:00pm.

The Coral Windows Stadium game has been moved from its original Saturday (12 October 2013) date at the request of the West Yorkshire Police because an EDL (English Defence League) demonstration that is due to take place in the city on the Saturday afternoon.

The game was initially switched earlier this week to the Friday night (11 October 2013) but this meant a clash with England’s World Cup qualifier against Montenegro, which is being televised live on terrestrial TV.

To avoid City and Tranmere fans having to face a tricky club versus country dilemma, the game has now been re-arranged once again, this time for the Sunday slot.

The club would like to apologise once more for any inconvenience caused to supporters for these changes and thank Tranmere Rovers for their help and understanding with regards to the switch to the Sunday afternoon.
