COME SUPPORT THE LADS TONIGHT!

29 April 2014

The Bantams' youth team play in their biggest game of the season this Tuesday (29 April 2014) evening when they take on Colchester United in The Football League Youth Alliance Cup Final at the Coral Windows Stadium.

After defeating Hull City in the northern section final in late March, City won a coin toss at the beginning of the month to ensure they will host this year's final at Valley Parade on Tuesday.

Opponents Colchester secured their spot in the main event with a penalty shoot-out victory over Portsmouth in the southern final.

The grand final will kick off at 7:00pm.

Entry into the final will be FREE.

The club's Main Stand (lower) will be open on an unreserved basis on the night.

The tie must be decided this evening. Should the score remain level after the end of normal time (90 minutes), the final will then go straight to penalties.

The Football League Youth Alliance Cup will be presented to the winning side - either Bradford or Colchester - on the Valley Parade pitch post-match.

City will, of course, be aiming for a league and cup double when they entertain Colchester tonight.

The Bantams' apprentices already have a league title in their back pockets after deservedly winning the Youth Alliance (North East) Division last month with three games to spare.

Youth team captain Jack Stockdill (pictured) and his team-mates got their hands on the league title and their winner's medals during the half-time interval of last Saturday's Crawley Town Sky Bet League 1 fixture.

Colchester will be looking for the double as well, however, after recently securing the Youth Alliance (South East) title by a single point from Peterborough United.
