Bradford City Football Club held its first Wedding Fayre last weekend (Sunday 6 April 2014) in the conference and banqueting centre at the Coral Windows Stadium.
The club had agreed with a number of individual local companies to come to the venue and showcase their products and services to future brides.
The football club, in conjunction with Special Events North East, created two showcase rooms - the first was a room to hold a wedding service and the second was a wedding reception room for the prospective bride and grooms to view.
In the 2013 Suite, local businesses had stalls to show their products and services to the future brides. Some of the businesses on show including Bouquets, Temple Spa, Health, Wellbeing and Vitality, Capricorn Photography, Travel 2, Napoleons Casino and Restaurant, Cakes to Please, Aces, Urban Chique Jewellery, Exclusive Wedding Cars, The Cake Emporium, Party Props Party Perfection, Mike Smith, Body by Vi, Baildon Travel and Special Events North East.
As part of the event, couples could book an appointment with the wedding planners from Special Events North East and plan out their special day at the Coral Windows Stadium.
Moving outside the hospitality area, there were a number of exclusive wedding cars on display for the clients to view and have a look around.
The Wedding Fayre was deemed a great success, and the football club is already planning another event for later in the year around the end of October or early November 2014.
