CHARITY MEMORABILIA AUCTION THIS TUESDAY

1 December 2014

The football club would like to remind supporters of a charity memorabilia auction which is to be held this Tuesday (2 December 2014).

With the help of the Friends of Bradford City, BantamsTrek will be holding a charity Bradford City Memorabilia Auction on Tuesday at the Highfield Hotel in Idle.

The auction is being held to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and the Bradford Burns Unit.

BantamsTrek is a charity group set up by City kit man John 'G' Duckworth back in 2010.

Thanks to a number of charity events organised by John and his group, BantamsTrek have raised thousands of pounds over the years for MacMillan, the football club and Bradford Burns Unit.

The Memorabilia Auction, which is scheduled to begin at 8:00pm, will allow City supporters to bid on some truly memorable items from the club's recent past.

The list of items up for grabs includes a number of pieces from City's incredible 2012/2013 campaign, such as a genuine Play-Off Final winners' medal, a rare 2012/2013 home shirt signed by the squad and a captain's armband from Gary Jones, plus tickets, programmes and official team-sheets from selected games during that memorable campaign.

Among other things, The Football League 'Movember' match-ball, used by City to kick off their match against Doncaster Rovers at the start of this month, is also available.

In total, there are as many as 36 Bradford City-related pieces up for grabs from the club's recent history.

Other football pieces are available as well though, including signed items from Southampton, Aston Villa, Preston North End, Middlesbrough and Arsenal.

SUPPORTERS CAN NOW VIEW A FULL LIST OF THE AUCTION ITEMS UP FOR GRABS VIA THE FRIENDS OF BRADFORD CITY OFFICIAL WEBSITE (PLEASE CLICK HERE).

ITEMS ARE ALSO AVAILABLE TO BID ON NOW.

Nine days later after the auction, BantamsTrek and the Friends of Bradford City will then host MacMillan Cancer Support's Northern Christmas Ball at the Coral Windows Stadium on Friday 12 December.

Like the charity auction, the event will be run with the aim of raising awareness and funds for MacMillan Cancer Support and the Bradford Burns Unit.

Tickets for the MacMillan Northern Christmas Ball are on sale now for only £35.00 per person. Tables of ten can be booked £300.00. Prices include a four-course meal, while an ABBA tribute act 'ABBA-NOW' have been booked to help you dance the night away!

More information on the night and how to book tickets can be found by visiting www.werehavingaball.co.uk
