Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has brought both Jason Kennedy and Matthew Bates back into his starting eleven for the club's first game of 2014 at Notts County.
Kennedy comes in for the injured Nahki Wells while Bates replaces Carl McHugh in the Bantams' line up at Meadow Lane.
With Andy Gray, Matt Taylor, Nathan Doyle and Raffaele De Vita all joining Wells on the sidelines, young strikers Lewis Clarkson and Oliver McBurnie are once again named on City's bench.
Apprentice midfielder Jack Stockdill is also included among the Bantams' substitutes.
