Bantams boss Phil Parkinson feels this Saturday's mouth-watering Yorkshire derby at Sheffield United will be one that his players will really be looking forward to.

Fresh from completing the signing of new striker Aaron Mclean, Parkinson will take his team to Bramall Lane for City's first league fixture at the home of the Blades in nearly ten years.

Backed by around 2,000 - 3,000 City supporters, Parkinson's men will be looking to secure their second win of the season over United after defeating them back in August at the Coral Windows Stadium.

With both sides keen for the local bragging rights though, Parkinson is anticipated a highly-competitive derby in front of an enthusiastic and vocal crowd.

Parkinson said: "It has all the prospects to be a tremendous game.

"Nigel (Clough) has come to Sheffield United since we played them at the start of the season. Although their manager has changed, it was still a tight game back in August and I'm expecting no different this Saturday.

"We're getting ready for a really competitive and feisty affair. With it being a Yorkshire derby, I'm sure they'll be a good crowd and a great atmosphere in the stadium at the weekend.

"We'll go there boosted by our new signing (Aaron Mclean) and in good spirits.

"The club haven't been to Sheffield United in the league in quite a while so the fans should be eagerly anticipating this one as well.

"The size of the stadium, the crowd, and the club we're up against should make it one to really saviour."
