Bantams boss Phil Parkinson is continuing to work away in an attempt to freshen up his squad at the Coral Windows Stadium.

With the January transfer window now open, there is the possibility for at least a couple of in-comings and out-goings for the Bantams this month.

The City chief has acknowledged that some players could be leaving Valley Parade over the next few weeks, with new recruits on the radar to replace any departures.

Parkinson said: "We have been busy over the last four or five days trying to put some things in place.

"We have had some inquiries about a couple of our players, and we'll see what happens with them.

"Any movements out of the club will generate a bit of money which may help us to get somebody else into the club.

"There are players in our squad who need to play. If they move on, it will free up some money in the wage budget to possibly allow us to bring one or two players in.

"As we've said before, the spirit and commitment of this group is undoubted but we might need to move things about to get that extra bit in we need."

With shot-stopper Connor Ripley now back at parent club Middlesbrough following his loan spell with City during the first part of this season, Parkinson is definitely on the look-out for another goalkeeper to add to his squad.

All being well, the Bantams manager is hopeful of having a new 'keeper in place ahead of Saturday's home Sky Bet League 1 fixture against Bristol City.
