City's youth team home fixture with York City for this Saturday (1 February 2014) has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
The North East Youth Alliance match will have to be rearranged after the youth team pitch at the club's Apperley Bridge training ground was deemed unplayable due to the recent rainfall.
The postponement is the second on the trot for the club's apprentices after last weekend's match with Notts County also fell victim to the weather.
A new date for the York fixture will be confirmed in due course.
