Phil Parkinson's men will travel to Morecambe's Globe Arena on Saturday 2 August 2014 - exactly one week before the Bantams kick off their new League 1 season.
Please note, the kick off time for the game will be 2:00pm.
Although former Bantams left back Robbie Threlfall has recently left the club, opponents Morecambe do currently have the duo of Kevin Ellison and Jamie Devitt - both one-time loanees with the Bantams - on their books for next season.
The Morecambe pre-season friendly is the fifth to be added to City's schedule for this summer.
The club have already confirmed friendlies against Conference North team Guiseley (12 July) and Championship side Blackburn Rovers (26 July).
For the third summer running, City will also once again take part in a week-long trip to Ireland during pre-season, with fixtures against U.C.D (15 July) and Shelbourne (19 July) set to take place during the Bantams' stay in the Emerald Isle.
Ticket prices for City's pre-season match with Morecambe will be announced in due course.
