Can The Bantams beat Bradford City this season in Play it like a pro's 3rd year
The third 'Play it like a pro' event takes place this afternoon (3pm Kick Off) and entry into the game as a spectator is FREE of charge, so come on down for a feast of football.
All proceeds raised from the event go to the club's ever developing youth department - a fantastic cause and brilliant for the club.
As mentioned, entry into the game is FREE of charge but match-day programmes will be on sale at £2 each and donation buckets will be around the ground to donate money to the cause.
The two teams 'Bradford City' and 'The Bantams' will be managed by Wayne Jacobs and Ken Monkou respectively. Former Bantams full back and Player of the Year Luke O'Brien will be playing his part in the game at some point also and also Lee Elam who has played for teams such as Yeovil, Morecambe and Crawley Town. Lee also now coaches in the Bradford City Academy.
The event made its debut in 2012 where Bradford City were the victors on penalties, they repeated the feat in 2013 so The Bantams will be looking to make it third time lucky on their search for a win.
The teams, other than the names mentioned, are made up of amateur footballers, the vast majority of which are devout Bradford City fans who have paid to take part in the event. A once in a lifetime opportunity to grace the Valley Parade turf.
