City supporter group, Friends of Bradford City, are giving fans the chance to sponsor a Bradford City shirt which will be displayed at box level in the Coral Windows Stadium from the start of next (2014/2015) season.
FoBCFC (Friends of Bradford City), along with Bantams Past, want to display every club jersey – home and away – from the 1970s to the present day in a massive long-term exhibition at the ground.
Professional photographer Neil Bedford, a London-based City fan, has made his personal collection, boasting more than 60 shirts, available for the display.
The intention is to display them and get supporters to sponsor a shirt (£60), which will then feature in a permanent display within Valley Parade - an exhibition that will grow year on year.
As part of the sponsorship - which can be by single person, family or business - each name will be displayed along with the selected shirt.
This is a great opportunity to have your name listed against a piece of Bradford City history.
The allocation of the shirt is expected to be at a forthcoming event to be held at Valley Parade. The name of the sponsor will be randomly drawn out and allocated to a shirt. The intention is to have ex-players attend the event.
The www.friendsofbcfc.co.uk web site now allows you to sponsor a shirt and feature in this forthcoming display. As there are limited numbers this will be on a first come first served basis.
