City's youth team will begin their F.A Youth Cup campaign for another season this Tuesday (4 November 2014) when they travel to Scunthorpe United.
The Bantams' first round encounter with the Iron will take place at Scunthorpe's main Glanford Park ground. Kick off is scheduled for 7:00pm.
Admission is £3.00 for adults and £1.00 for concessions.
The tie is a repeat of last season's first round encounter between the two clubs when goals from Callum Chippendale and Joe Brennan gave City a 2-0 win. The Bantams would go on to win at Morecambe in the next round before losing at home to Millwall at the third-round stage.
The winners of this season's first round tie will play either Carlisle United or Barnsley at home in the second round.
Head of Academy coaching Steve Thornber said: "Our games against Scunthorpe are always very tight affairs and we don't envisage Tuesday night's match being any different.
"Everybody looks forward to the F.A Youth Cup because it gives the lads an opportunity to play on a first team pitch and maybe the chance to play one of the top teams if we progress to the third round.
"The game will be a special occasion for our second years because this season will be their final opportunity to play in this competition.
"We will be treating the tie as if it was a first team fixture, which means we'll be travelling via a team coach to the game.
"Sometimes the occasion can be a bit overwhelming for some players but I am sure the lads will be ready to do themselves justice on the night and hopefully send us into round two."
