Bantams boss Phil Parkinson says he will first need to look at the options within his own squad before deciding whether to be tempted into the loan market.

Following last week's transfer deadline day, the Football League emergency loan window reopens today (Tuesday), meaning sides in the Championship, League 1 and League 1 can bring in players from other clubs for anything up to 93 days.

City's had some injury concerns coming off the back of Saturday's disappointing home defeat to Yeovil Town, with Alan Sheehan needing a late pre-match fitness test on a thigh problem, Matthew Dolan pulling out of the warm-up with a hamstring injury and Filipe Morais being ruled out the day before with a thigh injury.

Sheehan was able to play the full ninety minutes against Yeovil, while Morais could take part in training later this week. Dolan, however, was sent for a scan today to try and assess the nature of his own injury.

Parkinson said: "We need to look at the lads who have picked up knocks first. We'll see the extent of their problems and then decide from there.

"We'll have a head-count at the start of this week and see who is available for selection for the weekend.

"We have to make sure we put in the sort of performance on Saturday against Swindon Town that reflects exactly how we have been playing for the most part so far this season."
