With Clarke expected to play in an attacking role just behind the strikers and Knott and Liddle in line to take up their usual midfield roles, James Meredith is set to return to left back and Alan Sheehan to centre half.
James Hanson, Mason Bennett, Gary Liddle and Billy Knott all come back in after starting last weekend's league win at Rochdale, while Billy Clarke is also recalled after beginning City's last two games from the bench.
Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has brought a number of players back into his starting eleven from the side that began Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie at Oldham Athletic.
