Jon Stead's eleventh goal of the season in City colours ensured Phil Parkinson's Bantams finished their home fixtures for another season on a winning note.

Stead volleyed home Billy Knott's well-placed pass seventeen minutes into the Yorkshire derby at the Coral Windows Stadium for City's match-winner.

Before the game, the Coral Windows Stadium fell silent for an emotional minute's silence to honour the victims of the Valley Parade fire disaster on the eve of its 30th anniversary.

Thanks to Stead's goal, City now move up to eighth in the League 1 table with only one game of the regular season to go.
