Sky Bet League 1
Scunthorpe United 1 (McSheffrey 26)
Bradford City 1 (Clarke 63)
Kick Off: 7.45pm
at Glanford Park

Attendance: 3,176 (467 visitors)

The Bantams came from the behind away from home for the second time in four days thanks to a Billy Clarke equaliser to earn a draw at Scunthorpe United.

After trailing at the interval thanks to an opener from Scunthorpe's Gary McSheffrey, Clarke converted Stephen Darby's cross with a fine first time finish shortly after the hour mark to earn Phil Parkinson's men a share of the spoils.

Tony McMahon could have won it for Parkinson's side deep in injury time after being played in by substitute Andy Halliday but the midfielder had to take the chance early and he could only fire over while under pressure.

Scunthorpe's goal to give them the half time advantage came midway through the first period when McSheffrey ran onto Hakeeb Adelakun's cross before slotting low past Ben Williams from inside the box.

The hosts could have actually doubled their lead with the game moving towards the break when Neal Bishop crashed a drive from the edge of the area against the bar.

With Scunthorpe's advantage only at one through going into the second half, City were able to show their fighting qualities once again to drag themselves back into the match.

Clarke netted his thirteenth goal of an increasingly productive campaign to grab a point for Parkinson's side when he stole in to fire a cushioned half-volley into the far bottom corner following Darby's ball into the box.

FT: Scunthorpe United 1 Bradford City 1
90+2min: Halliday's through-ball has McMahon in with a sight of goal but, under pressure, he can only fire over the bar from inside the box.
90min: There will be three minutes of time added on at the end of the match.
89min: Lundstram's cross-field ball picks out the run of Madden and the attacker turns past Darby before firing in a low strike from just inside the area that is well held by Williams.
86min: McMahon's effort direct from the free-kick about 25 yards out following Clarke's booking goes narrowly past Daniels' near post.
86min: SUB - Scunthorpe bring on David Syers for McSheffrey.
85min: YELLOW CARD - Jordan Clarke is booked for clipping Halliday as the winger was in full flow driving towards Scunthorpe's penalty area.
76min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Andy Halliday and Matthew Dolan for Knott and Stead respectively.
70min: SUB - Scunthorpe bring on Kevin van Veen for Robinson.
69min: YELLOW CARD - Darby is booked for a late tackle on Marcus Williams just inside Scunthorpe's half of the pitch.
68min: Madden's fierce half-volleyed shot on the turn from just outside the box is well held first time by Williams.
63min: GOAL!!!!!!!!!!! Scunthorpe United 1 Bradford City 1 - Clarke does it again! Darby's searching cross into the area finds the unmarked Clarke over by the far side of Daniels' goal and the Irish attacker fires calmly into the far bottom corner with a neat first time finish.
58min: Jordan Clarke tries his luck from all of 35 yards out and the right back's ambitious effort goes not too far over Williams' bar.
57min: After seeing his first shot blocked, Routis takes aim again but his rising drive from just outside the box goes over the bar.
52min: McSheffrey plays the ball invitingly across the six yard box but Andrew Davies makes a vital sliding block tackle to deny Robinson behind him a tap-in.
50min: Stead's looping header from Darby's cross is held by Daniels.
46min: As the second half begins, it becomes clear that Liddle has dropped back to centre half and Christopher Routis has moved into midfield.
46min: The Bantams restart the match.
HT: Scunthorpe United 1 Bradford City 0
45+2min: McMahon's wide delivery from the resulting free-kick is initially headed away by Bishop before Stead can only volley tamely wide of Daniels' near post on the follow up.
45+2min: YELLOW CARD - Andrew Boyce is booked for dragging down Clarke as the Bantams attacker turned away from him and looked to drive into Scunthorpe's penalty area.
45min: There will be two minutes added on at end of the first half.
44min: McMahon's in-swinging delivery from a wide free-kick delivery makes its way through to Stead over by the far post. The attacker can only head the ball back across goal, however, and no City player is on hand to capitalise and Scunthorpe can clear their lines.
42min: Theo Robinson's low angled drive from just outside the box is held by Williams at his near post.
39min: Madden tries to get into a shooting opportunity just outside the City's penalty box but his eventual strike on the turn is blocked behind for a corner by Stephen Darby.
38min: Scunthorpe nearly double their lead through Neal Bishop as the midfielder hits the bar. After playing a one-two with Paddy Madden, Bishop drives towards City's penalty area before firing in fierce drive that beats Williams before rattling against the crossbar behind him.
26min: GOAL - Scunthorpe United 1 Bradford City 0 - Scunthorpe opening the scoring through McSheffrey. Adelakun get free down Scunthorpe's right flank and he cuts the ball back to McSheffrey, giving the attacker the opportunity to fire low past Williams and into the bottom corner.
25min: Hakeeb Adelakun's clipped free-kick into the area is headed back into the mix by the unmarked Neal Bishop. The midfielder's header causes a bit of concern in the visitors' penalty area but City are eventually able to clear their lines.
22min: McSheffrey cuts inside from the left flank but his rising drive from around 20 yards out sails harmlessly wide of Ben Williams' goal.
17min: SUB - Scunthorpe bring on John Lunstram for Isaiah Osbourne, presumably for a knock the midfielder picked up during a tackle from Billy Knott in the first few minutes of the game.
13min: Andrew Davies gets his head onto Tony McMahon's floated delivery into the area but Daniels is out quickly to beat Clarke to the defender's header into the middle. Daniels' punch clear finds the lurking Gary Liddle just outside the area but the midfielder's volley goes over the bar by a yard or so.
10min: Picking up his half-cleared wide free-kick delivery outside City's penalty area, Gary McSheffrey fires forwards from around 20 yards out but his wild drive is sliced and actually goes out for a throw-in over on the far side.
9min: Jon Stead, who has begun the game on a left hand side of an attacking three with James Hanson and Billy Clarke, cuts inside onto his right foot for a strike but his effort from just outside the box is straight at Luke Daniels.
0min: Scunthorpe kick off the match. The Bantams will defend the end housing their supporters in the first period.
