The Club has announced its access and turnstile arrangements for the tonight’s (Tuesday) fixture versus Bristol City (kick-off 7.45pm).
As always, for a Tuesday night game, the Club appreciates that people will be travelling directly to the game from work, college, etc. However, it would still be useful if people could get to the stadium as early as possible. Turnstiles in every section will be open from 6.30pm. Fans using the Northern Commercials Stand on Midland Road should note that the number of turnstiles available to Home fans in that section will be limited for this game.
The Club wishes to remind all Home supporters of the standard policy that any Home supporters who haven’t got a ticket or pass in their possession before the game must buy a ticket from the main ticket office in the North West corner of the stadium before they approach the turnstiles.
So for tonight’s home game against Bristol City, the following entrances are the easiest way to gain entry to the stadium:
For the JCT 600 West Stand
- Home supporters with pre-paid tickets - i.e. season tickets, match tickets or flexi-cards where the seats have been paid for in advance - should make their way to turnstiles W4-W10 or W12-W18. These turnstiles are all located in the Directors’ car park either side of the glass doors that lead to the banqueting areas.
- Home supporters with a flexi-card who wish to pay cash on the day can enter by turnstiles W3 or W11.
- Any spectator with no passes or tickets should make their way to the main ticket office in the North West corner of the stadium to make a purchase.
For the North West corner
- This will only be available to people who have obtained tickets in advance through the Community Foundation - supporters with match tickets should make their way into the stand via turnstiles NW5-NW6.
For the North Stand Kop
- Home supporters with pre-paid tickets - i.e. season tickets, match tickets or flexi-cards where the seats have been paid for in advance - should make their way to turnstiles N1 to N4 and N5-N6, all of which are located behind the Kop.
- Home supporters with pre-paid tickets - i.e. season tickets, match tickets or flexi-cards where the seat has been paid for in advance - can also enter both levels of the North Stand Kop through turnstiles N11 - N14 which can be located on Midland Road.
- Home supporters with a flexi-card for the North Stand Kop, who wish to pay cash on the day, are asked to gain access through turnstiles N9-N10 on Midland Road. N7 and N8 behind the Kop (close to the Bantams Bar entrance) will also be available for flexi-card holders wanting to pay cash on the day, but to ease congestion in the area around the ticket office; all supporters are asked to use the turnstiles on Midland Road.
- Any spectator with no passes or tickets should make their way to the main ticket office in the North West corner of the stadium to make a purchase.
For the Northern Commercials (East) Stand
- Home supporters with pre-paid tickets - i.e. season tickets, match tickets or flexi-cards where the seats have been paid for in advance - should make their way to turnstiles E1 to E4, all of which are located on Midland Road.
- Home supporters with a flexi-card who wish to pay cash on the day can enter the Northern Commercials Stand by turnstiles E5 or E6.
- Any spectator with no passes or tickets who wants to sit in Blocks A-E of the stand, should make their way to the main ticket office in the North West corner of the stadium to make a purchase.
Late turnstiles
There will be late turnstiles for each part of the stadium which will remain open until half-time. There will be two late gates per section with one being for flexi-card holders paying cash on the day and the other for holders of season tickets, match tickets or flexi-cards where the seats have been paid for in advance.
- For the JCT 600 (West) Stand, tickets holders should go to W4, with flexi-card cash payers using W3.
- For the North West corner, match ticket holders should go to NW6 which can be located next to the main ticket office.
- For the North Stand Kop, ticket holders should go to N1, with flexi-card cash payers using N8 (both of which are behind the Kop - there is no late turnstile for the Kop on Midland Road).
- For the Northern Commercials (East) Stand, ticket holders should use E4 with flexi-card cash players using E5.
As previously announced, there will be a road closure in place on Midland Road for this game. Midland Road between its junctions with Thorncliffe Road and Cornwall Road will be closed from 6pm until 10.30pm to ensure the large number of spectators using Midland Road can arrive and leave the stadium safely and to enable Away coaches to park in that area. The lower sections of Holywell Ash Lane will also be closed during the same period. Supporters are also reminded to ensure that their vehicle is secure and that any valuables are either removed from the car entirely or placed out of sight while your car is parked up for the game.
