Bantams captain Stephen Darby says the players are eager to thank the home fans for their tremendous support this season when City take on Barnsley at the Coral Windows Stadium this weekend.
Lee Johnson's Tykes travel to BD8 this Saturday for City's final home match of the 2014/2015 campaign.
As a result, the Barnsley fixture will be the last opportunity for the vast majority of Bradford fans to see the Bantams in action before the summer break, and Darby know City are keen to put in a performance that they can remember for all the right reasons.
Darby said: "We want to finish the home campaign on a high with a good performance and hopefully three points.
"It is a chance for us to thank the fans for the support they have given us throughout this season.
"They have supported us in their numbers home and away. They have spent their hard-earned money coming to support us win, lose or draw, and they have been like our twelfth man. It is time for us to say thanks to them.
"We have had some fantastic games this season, especially in the cups, and the atmosphere the fans have created in those matches has been absolutely unbelievable.
"There is no better way for us to thank the fans than by putting on a performance and trying to end our home fixtures with three points."
With the 30th anniversary of the Valley Parade fire disaster now just over two weeks away, City will be joined by the rest of the Football League and Premier League this weekend in holding a pre-match minute's silence.
As captain, Darby will lead the team out on Saturday as usual for the Barnsley fixture before laying a wreath on the centre circle ahead of a minute's silence just before kick off.
Darby added: "There is massive motivation for the lads there (to do well this Saturday).
"It is an emotional time for everyone connected with the football club, and it is extremely important that we paid our respects to the 56 and remember every single person affected by the tragedy."
