New City striker Devante Cole says that discussions with Bantams boss Phil Parkinson convinced him that the Coral Windows Stadium was the best place for his football future.
Cole became City's latest new recruit on Friday when he penned a two-year deal at the club.
The 20 year-old pacey forward hopes his move to City will give him the chance opportunity to impress and repay some of the faith shown in him by Parkinson.
Cole said: "I sat down with the manager at the beginning of this week and I was impressed with what he said.
"I had a lot of options over the summer but meeting the manager really decided it for me.
"Game-time is important for me, and what he said made me come here.
"He told me that if I work hard, I will get my chance to impress.
"He thinks I can be a really good fit for this team. He just wants me to show people what I can do.
"I just want to try hard, get in the team and try to score as many as I can for the side."
