SQUAD NUMBERS CONFIRMED

Ahead of Saturday's Sky Bet League 1 season opener at Swindon Town, the club can now confirm the official squad numbers for Phil Parkinson's side for the 2015/2016 season.

Recent signing Paul Anderson has chosen squad number 26, while Mark Marshall will wear number 7.

Nathan Clarke has been allocated the number 5 shirt, Steven Davies has got number 24 and Josh Morris has number 14.

Luke James has asked for squad number 33 - the same number he used when he was breaking through into the first team ranks at Hartlepool United.

All ten of the club's remaining outfield senior professionals from last season - Stephen Darby, James Meredith, Alan Sheehan, Gary Liddle, James Hanson, Billy Clarke, Billy Knott, Rory McArdle, Christopher Routis and Filipe Morais - have kept their same numbers.

Tony McMahon has selected his favoured number 29 as well.

Goalkeeper Ben Williams, however, has been allocated squad number 1 after using number 12 last season.
