THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

17 August 2015

The football club would like to thank supporters for their help in arriving early to the Coral Windows Stadium for Saturday’s home game versus Shrewsbury Town.

With over 18,000 supporters at the stadium, it was great to see that everyone had arrived in good time and there were no queues anywhere around the stadium at kick-off.  We hope that supporters will see the benefits of arriving in good time and keep up that approach for all games this season.

On leaving the stadium there was, as expected, some delays in getting away from the North West corner.

Here again, supporters can help the Club and themselves by making greater use of the One-in-a-Million school compound as they leave the stadium.

On Saturday, spectators were queuing to get on to staircase leading to Burlington Street even though there were very few people going through the compound.  This area is watched closely on CCTV as spectators arrive and leave by that route.

We observed many fans chose to join the queue for the staircase when they could have walked through the One-in-a-Million compound onto Thorncliffe Road and up towards Burlington Street or Manningham Lane without delay.
