The Club would like to remind its supporters that there are still over 3000 Season Ticket and FlexiCards that haven’t been collected for the new season.
In past seasons, the Club have allowed season ticket collection right through to the day of the first home game, but due to the high numbers sold, this will not be possible for the 2015/16.
With the big kick-off on Saturday and the first home game just seven days later, supporters who have backed the Club so wholeheartedly in reserving tickets are being asked to make sure they collect them before the day of the first home game versus Shrewsbury Town on 15th August.
The club's Safety Officer, David Dowse, said: “With the experience of delivering big games at the Coral Windows Stadium in the last few years, we are confident in our ability to deliver big games week-in, week-out.
"However, with the North Stand Kop being close to capacity and the North West Corner being back in use it is important that we take steps to keep pre-match congestion in that area down to a minimum. Therefore, it will not be possible to issue any season tickets or flexi-cards on the day of the match, so any supporters wanting to use their tickets for the first home game must collect them by 5:00pm on Friday 14th August at the very latest.
"The majority of supporters have reacted to this message, but we just need one final push on the collection of tickets to make sure there are no delays or potential safety concerns at the first home game of the season”.
The Club’s Chief Operating Officer, James Mason added, “The Club would like, once again, to extend its thanks to supporters for their fantastic support; one last push to collect the season tickets is now needed to ensure that the first game of the season can be delivered safely and successfully”.
Bradford City’s Ticket Office Manager Mick Lamb will be available to answer any supporter questions, stating “The ticket office is situated in the North West Corner of the stadium and is open Monday to Friday 9:00am until 5:00pm and on Saturday 8th August from 9:00am until 12 noon.
"All season tickets booked prior to 1st August are now available for collection. If anyone is unable to get to the ticket office before Friday 14th August, please forward to the Club a stamped-addressed envelope and your receipts and your tickets will be posted out to you.”
