Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has made as many as six changes for City's Capital One Cup tie at Sky Bet League 2 side York City.
Alan Sheehan replaces James Meredith at left back while Gary Liddle returns to central midfield and captains the side.
Paul Anderson and Mark Marshall will start the match on the Bantams' right and left wings respectively. Leading the attack for Parkinson's men will be the duo of Steven Davies and Luke James.
