Clarke was present at the Coral Windows Stadium to see watch the draw on t.v with joint-chairman Mark Lawn and a selection of City supporters inside the 1911 Club.
After defeating Sunderland in front of a packed Coral Windows Stadium on Sunday, City were given another chance to play on home soil when they were pitted against Championship side Reading in the quarter final draw.
With the prize of a Wembley semi final waiting for the winners of the Valley Parade tie, Clarke knows there is plenty of reasons for the Bantams to get excited about following the draw.
Phil Parkinson's men have five Sky Bet League 1 matches between now and the Reading tie, however, and with the club still realistically in the hunt for a Play-Off spot, Clarke is aware that league matters must take priority at the moment - starting with Wednesday's trip to Leyton Orient.
Clarke said: "We are happy to have been drawn at home.
"We have the confidence now given our previous results in this competition that we can take on anyone but being drawn at home again is massive.
"Getting the fans behind us again will be important. If it is half as good as it was on Sunday, then it will be an incredible atmosphere.
"With a place at Wembley at stake, the match will almost be like a one-off cup final.
"As exciting as this all is though, we have to put it on a back-burner for the time being.
"We have a lot of league fixtures coming up and our main objective at the start of the season was to push for promotion.
"Our preparations for Wednesday have already started and we know we will have to be spot-on for that one.
"It will be a really tough game for us - totally different to Sunday.
"We are right in the mix (for a Play-Off spot) at the minute and every league game is massive for us.
"To go to Leyton Orient and get the three points would be big for us and would mean a lot."
