MALCOLM AGLEY

17 February 2015

The football club were deeply saddened to hear of the recent death of long-term supporter, Malcolm Agley.

Mr Agley, 70, passed away on Monday morning after falling ill on Sunday evening shortly after City's F.A Cup Fifth Round victory over Sunderland at the Coral Windows Stadium.

Malcolm - a season ticket holder in the North Stand Kop - was part of the record 24,021 crowd for the Sunderland victory before being taken ill.

He leaves his wife, Ingrid, and five adult children.

Bantams winger Filipe Morais attends the same church as Ingrid and Malcolm and actually sat in this Sunday's service with the pair on the morning of the Sunderland game.

Morais was told of the sad news of Malcolm's passing by Fr John Gott, the Parish Priest at The Good Shepherd in Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge.

The Portuguese attacker said: "I would like to pass my deepest condolences onto Ingrid, their children and anyone else who was close to Malcolm.

"I was extremely sad to hear about Malcolm's death on Monday and my thoughts are certainly with his family at this time."

BRADFORD CITY FOOTBALL CLUB WOULD LIKE TO ECHO THE SENTIMENTS OF FILIPE AND PASS ON OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO MALCOLM'S FAMILY DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME.
