PARKINSON LOOKING FOR MORE

4 February 2015

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has confirmed that City will be actively looking for further recruits to add to their squad when the emergency loan window opens up again next week.

With City set to kick off a period of at least 13 games in the next 43 days - a run that will see the Bantams play two games a week until 21 March - Parkinson swooped to sign Blackpool defender Gary MacKenzie late on Deadline Day this Monday.

Despite the main transfer window closing on Monday evening though, Football League clubs can still bring players in for a maximum of 93 days when the emergency loan window reopens next Tuesday.

Parkinson said: "We have a busy period of fixtures coming up and we still need to add one or two more to the squad using the emergency loan market.

"This is an option we have to continue to look into because of the amount of games we have coming up.

"With the schedule we have, it was good to add Gary (MacKenzie) to the squad.

"We looked at several players on Monday and Gary was the best option available to us.

"He will be a good acquisition for us I'm sure."
