Bantams midfielder Billy Knott believes this Saturday's trip to Premier League leaders Chelsea will be a great occasion for everyone connected with the football club.

Helped by three Knott goals over two separate games, City defeated Championship side Millwall in a F.A Cup third round replay in front of a vocal home support last Wednesday to secure a match with Jose Mourinho's all-stars.

While City's dream date with Chelsea has understandably caught the imagination of just about every Bradford fan going, for Knott, it gives the Canvey Island-born attacker an opportunity to make a return to the Blues.

Knott spent three years in Chelsea's youth ranks between 2007 and 2010 before moving on to fellow Premier League side Sunderland.

The 22 year-old said excitedly: "I think I kept my family up almost all night talking about this game after the Millwall match!

"We had a great win over Millwall to get to this stage and it is going to be a great day out for all involved.

"I was at Chelsea when I was a youngster so it will be good to go back there.

"Everybody in the squad, even those on the bench, will be giving it 100% and we'll be going there hoping that we can even cause an upset.

"As everyone knows, Chelsea are Chelsea - they will always have world class players available to them.

"They probably have some of the best players in the world in the team but everybody in the starting eleven and on the bench will be giving it their all to push them as far as we can.

"It will be a great day out for all of the fans regardless of the result, however, and we're all looking forward to it."
