21 January 2015

Around 6,000 City fans are expected to make the journey to the capital this Saturday to see Phil Parkinson's Bantams take on Premier League leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the F.A Cup Fourth Round.

Official supporters' coaches will depart from outside the Coral Windows Stadium at 8:00am on match-day (Saturday 24 January 2015).

For supporters using one of the club's official coaches on Saturday, please could they park their cars in the Burlington Street car park (on the corner of the One in a Million School and the 1911 Club main reception).

Any group of supporters wishing to take their own coach down to Stamford Bridge will need to gain permission in advance by e-mailing Chelsea - - to request a permit giving contact name, telephone number, registration plate and size of vehicle.

Coach parking will only be permitted three hours from kick-off.

Chelsea will then email a permit and book the coach in on a first come, first served basis. Chelsea are limited to 23 coaches for the away supporters.

Given its position in London, Stamford Bridge isn't usually the most straight-forward ground to get to, certainly by car, meaning other forms of transport are normally used by a lot supporters getting to and from Chelsea's world famous stadium.

Below is a brief guide to some of the transport options available to fans attending City's eagerly-anticipated tie against Jose Mourinho's all-stars.

The nearest tube station is Fulham Broadway on the District Line. If supporters are changing at Earls Court Station, then take a Wimbledon-bound tube. There are two Overground stations near to Stamford Bridge, West Brompton and Imperial Wharf, which are approximately a 15-minute walk from the stadium. These are both on a direct line between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction.

There are two bus stops outside Stamford Bridge on the Fulham Road. Fans can get to the stadium using the number 14, 211 and 414 buses.

Chelsea strongly advises supporters NOT to drive to Stamford Bridge due to parking restrictions in the area on match-days.

Driving from The North, East or West:

Use the M25 to Junction 15 and turn off onto the M4 towards London. Follow the M4 which becomes the A4 up to Hammersmith. Go over the Hammersmith Flyover and a further 1.5 miles before turning off for Earls Court. Go past Earls Court station and across Old Brompton Road, eventually reaching Fulham Road. Turn right at the traffic lights. After 600 yards, the ground is on the right. Parking is very limited close to the ground.

Driving from The South:

Cross the river at Wandsworth Bridge and head up Wandsworth Bridge Road. At the junction with New King's Road, turn right and then immediately left. This will take you up to Fulham Broadway. Turn right onto Fulham Road and the ground is 400 yards on the left. Parking is very limited close to the ground

Regardless of whether you are travelling by coach, tube or bus though, Chelsea have been in touch with City to pass on the following visiting supporters' guide to match-days at Stamford Bridge.
