Parkinson used twenty-three players in total for the friendly, naming a separate side for each half at Whitby's Turnbull Ground.
Whitby won the fixture thanks to a single first half penalty from striker Michael Roberts.
Despite the loss though, Parkinson still felt his players will have got some benefit from the workout.
