Bantams boss Phil Parkinson was left buzzing after hearing that City had broke through the 18,000 mark for season tickets and FlexiCards sold for the forthcoming 2015/2016 campaign.

Thanks to the success of the club's recent #onefournine campaign, Parkinson's men can look forward to the prospect of playing in front of the sort of home crowds not seen at the Coral Windows Stadium since the Bantams were in the Premier League fifteen years ago.

The City chief feels the number of tickets sold is another example of the tremendous support and backing his squad receive from the Bradford public, and he can't wait to sample those special home atmospheres come the new season.

Parkinson said: “It’s an amazing effort and a fantastic response from the people of Bradford to get behind the club.

“One huge advantage we can have this season is our home support and the ground going to be as full as it will be for every game here.

“The Coral Windows Stadium is a great stage to play on. The fuller it is, the better the atmosphere and we’re all looking forward to experiencing that again.

“You look back at the big home games we’ve had and there’s nothing better for a player or a manager than driving into the ground and sensing that special atmosphere.

“Everyone wants to be involved in that kind of atmosphere. When we’re talking to other players, the people we speak to can all see what is happening here.

“Selling so many season-tickets is a great indication of the size of this club and what we are trying to build.”
