PARKINSON SET TO REVERSE THINGS

16 July 2015

Bantams boss Phil Parkinson says he plans to swap things around for Saturday's pre-season friendly at Scottish Championship side St Mirren.

Following Tuesday's win at Motherwell, Parkinson's men will complete their time in Scotland with their match at St Mirren Park (kick off 2:00pm).

For the Motherwell match, Parkinson gave his starting eleven roughly sixty minutes of the fixture before making a host of changes from the bench.

Parkinson says those players who came on as substitutes against Motherwell will now start at St Mirren to give them the opportunity to get an hour or so under their belts themselves.

The City chief said: "We will look to do a reverse of what happened on Tuesday for Saturday.

"Those players who got thirty minutes against Motherwell - Billy Knott, Rory McArdle, James Hanson etc - will look to start against St Mirren.

"They need more minutes on Saturday."
