BANTAMS DISABILITY ORGANISATION LAUNCHES

12 March 2015

The newly formed Bantams Disability Organisation – Bantams DO – are delighted to invite supporters to get involved in making in a difference to the practical and social experiences of fans with disabilities in supporting Bradford City FC.

Bantams DO is the brainchild of lifelong City fan and advocate for supporters with disabilities, Kate Eveleigh, and aims to work closely with the Football Club in enhancing and representing the views of disabled supporters with regard to specific issues as well as bringing an inclusive social element for its members to enjoy.

The organisation is thankful for the early support of national supporters’ campaign Level Playing Field, local community project – Lead the Change (co-ordinated by Participate Projects), and the Bradford City Supporters’ Board and are now looking for like-minded individuals to help drive this group forward.

Bantams DO are therefore looking for any interested parties to nominate themselves for a number of exciting roles within this new initiative. These roles are Secretary, Fundraising Officer, Social Media Officer and Events Co-ordinator. Nominations are open to anyone wishing to get involved to bring their experiences and skills for the benefit of others, and can be taken on behalf of other potential members with their agreement.
