Trailing at the interval thanks to Frank Nouble's opener on the stroke of half time for Coventry, City brought on Yeates to help kick-start a second period recovery.

The Irishman fired City level twenty minutes from the end with a driven set-piece strike from just outside the box that flew past home 'keeper Lee Burge and into the far corner.

There looked only one winner at that stage as the Bantams poured forward time after time but Coventry threatened nine minutes from the end when Nick Proschwitz fired wide from inside the box.

James Hanson had a late chance to win it for City in the nineteenth minute but his downward header from Billy Clarke's hanging cross was well saved by Burge.

Along with Yeates, Alan Sheehan also came on before the restart following an arm injury to Andrew Davies late on in the first half.

90+1min: A McArdle header keeps a City free-kick from deep alive inside Coventry's penalty but Halliday's own header shortly afterwards loops over the bar.

90min: YELLOW CARD - John Fleck is booked for clipping Knott's heels just inside Coventry's half of the pitch.

90min: Hanson is denied by a fine save from Burge! Clarke's hanging cross into the area is met by Hanson but the striker's downward header is kept out by a fine reflex save from Burge low down to his left.

81min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Billy Knott for Morais.

81min: A good chance for Coventry is squandered by Proschwitz! Tudgay's lofted pass into the area is helped on by Chris Stokes but Proschwitz can only fire wide of Williams' far post from around ten yards out.

80min: A forceful run from wide by Nouble sees the attacker drive into the box but his eventual pull-back from the byline lacks the required pace and Williams is able to gratefully drop on the ball.

78min: Coventry lead a dangerous counter-attack from a cleared City corner but a combination of Darby and McArdle manage to put enough pressure on Nouble to force the striker to fire wide of Williams' near post.

70min: YELLOW CARD - Yeates is booked for celebrations by referee Gary Sutton, presumably for kicking the corner flag and a sponsor hoarding while enjoying the moment of his great free-kick.

69min: YELLOW CARD - Martin is booked for catching Andy Halliday with a late tackle just outside Coventry's penalty area.

66min: Morais cuts inside on his left foot but his rising drive from distance sails over Burge's bar.

64min: Yeates cuts inside from City's left flank before firing in a driven strike from outside the area that Burge clings onto first time by his near post.

62min: SUB - Coventry bring on Nick Proschwitz for O'Brien.

60min: YELLOW CARD - Pennington is booked for bringing down Meredith as the Australian charged down City's left flank after latching onto a loose pass.

57min: SUB - Coventry bring on Dominic Samuel for Odelusi.

56min: On the stretch, Martin volleys over from just outside the six yard box after battling to reach O'Brien's out-swinging corner delivery towards the near post.

53min: Morais takes aim from outside the box but the Portuguese winger's ambitious effort on the run bounces up off the turf and flies out for a throw-in over on the far side.

51min: Yeates has a couple of bites of the cherry when Morais' corner delivery falls into his path just outside the area. His first effort is blocked before his second strike is held by Burge.

49min: SUB - Phillips indeed has to be taken off and he is replaced by Andrew Webster.

47min: We have a break in play with Phillips receives some treatment for an injury midway into Coventry's half of the pitch.

46min: The Bantams restart the match.

HT SUBS - The Bantams have brought Alan Sheehan and Mark Yeates on just before the start of the second period for Andrew Davies and Francois Zoko respectively.

43min: Tudgay squanders a good chance for the hosts. Nouble's hanging cross towards the far post is headed back across goal by Phillips but Tudgay's own header from close range in the middle is put over the bar.

37min: Phillip's curling cross into the box is deflected up into the path of Odelusi but the winger's far post header loops up harmlessly onto the roof of Williams' goal.

35min: Sanmi Odelusi latches onto McArdle's headed clearance roughly two-thirds into City's half of the pitch but the winger's effort for goal once he has the ball at his feet sails many, many yards wide of its intended target and out for a goal kick.

33min: After latching onto Clarke's hook out of City's area, Aaron Phillips drills the ball forwards once again with venom but the right back's driven volley flashes across the box and comfortably wide of Williams' far post.

31min: Nouble's shot on the turn from just outside the box is blocked well away from goal and out for a corner by a forceful block tackle by Rory McArdle.

28min: After being played into space by Billy Clarke, Filipe Morais' shot-come-cross from an angle inside the box is cleared by the trailing foot of Pennington as the ball flashes across Coventry's area.

20min: Stephen Darby's ball from deep into the area has James Meredith interested and Coventry defender Matthew Pennington has to nervously put the ball past Lee Burge's near post and out for a Bantams corner with the Australian close by.

18min: Aaron Martin beats Williams to Jim O'Brien's inswinging cross from deep but, thankfully for City, the defender's glancing header loops up onto the top of 'keeper's goal and not into his net.

7min: Marcus Tudgay's searching pass into the path of Frank Nouble finds his strike-partner in space deep inside City's penalty area but the powerful forward drags his shot wide of Ben Williams' near post from around eight yards out.

3min: James Hanson is at the centre of a very good chance for the Bantams early on! James Meredith's low driven cross into the area finds Hanson lurking but the striker, who is positioned towards the middle of goal, fires over with a first time strike from around eight yards out.
