Heading into their second game in a week and with the trio of James Hanson, James Meredith and Reece Burke likely to be unavailable to them, City will face an in-form Scunthorpe side at Glanford Park at the weekend.
Mark Robins' Iron have won their last four home games on the trot, winning six of their last eight matches in total, while they also boast the league's second top scorer in Paddy Madden.
With the Bantams on a good run of form themselves, Parkinson's men will certainly have their tails up as well going into the encounter but the City chief knows the togetherness within the whole group will be important come Saturday.
City are expecting to bring a four-figure away following with them to Scunthorpe, and Parkinson reckons the support of the fans will be needed more than ever as his side look to stretch their current eight-game unbeaten run.
Parkinson said: "This is a big game for us and we are meeting a real form team.
"They have a lot of experience in their camp but confidence levels within the squad here are obviously high.
"As always, we'll need to make sure that our work ethic and discipline is there in the team if we want to keep our recent run going.
"We have to utilise the squad and pick the side who we feel will give us the best chance of getting a good result.
"We have full confidence in all of the lads we have within our squad otherwise we wouldn't have signed them.
"Nathan Clarke and Greg Leigh have come into the side and showed what they can do. It's a boost to have Billy Clarke back and getting Josh Morris on the bench the other night (vs Aldershot).
"The supporters will be able to make a big difference for us as well.
"They understand that this will be our second game in a few days and that we'll need all the support we can get.
"I always feel it helps us a lot when we get a big following away from home.
"They can help us to play with real intensity and make it feel like a home atmosphere for us."
