Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has made two changes to his side from the starting XI that begun Saturday's win over Crewe Alexandra.
Mark Marshall comes in on the left wing for Kyel Reid and Devante Cole replaces Billy Clarke in attack, with both Reid and Clarke moving down to City's bench.
Joining the duo among the Bantams' substitutes for the tie is the fit-again Josh Morris after two months on the sidelines with a knee injury for the midfielder.
Reece Burke has not been passed fit to play after picking up a slight knee injury in training on Monday, meaning Nathan Clarke will continue in central defence alongside Rory McArdle.
For Aldershot, former Bantams Player of the Year Luke Oliver starts in defence.
