With City's four internationals away on duty with their respective nations, Bantams boss Phil Parkinson has made as seven alterations for this Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie with Barnsley.
Nathan Clarke and Christopher Routis come into City's central defence while Greg Leigh makes his full Bantams debut at left back.
Mark Marshall and Billy Knott replace Kyel Reid and Lee Evans respectively in City's midfield. James Hanson and Luke James have been partnered together in attack.
