Less than a month after his maiden international call up, Bantams defender James Meredith has once again been named in the Australian national side for their latest FIFA World Cup 2018 qualifiers.

After travelling with Australia for their match in Jordan at the start of October, Meredith was confirmed this Wednesday morning in the Socceroos' squad for their forthcoming qualifiers against Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh.

Australia are due to host Kyrgyzstan in Canberra on Thursday 12 November 2015 before travelling to Dhaka to play Bangladesh five days later (Tuesday 17 November 2015).

Meredith is expected to join up with the Australia squad after City's trip to Aldershot Town in the Emirates FA Cup first round, meaning the 27 year-old left back is scheduled to miss the club's home Sky Bet League 1 fixture with Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 14 November 2015.
