Millwall came into the game having won their last three home matches but City fully merited their point from a close and keenly-fought contest.

The Lions' best opening of the game was kept out by Ben Williams when the City shot-stopper produced a fine reaction save to deny his namesake Shaun Williams in the second period, repelling the Millwall midfielder's effort from the edge of the area.

In the first period, Devante Cole saw a penalty appeal waved away when he appeared to be bundled over in the box by Tony Craig inside the box.

Kyel Reid also fired over on the stretch from close range nearer to the interval when Lee Evans' long throw-in bounced dangerously in the heart of Millwall's penalty area.

77min: O'Brien's teasing cross into the box has Morison interested but McArdle makes a vitally important headed clearance to knock the ball out of his path.

74min: What a great save from Ben Williams! Morison's low cross is set back to Shaun Williams by Gregory but the Bantams shot-stopper is equal to the midfielder rising effort from the edge of the box, superbly tipping the strike over.

71min: SUB - The Bantams bring on Mark Marshall for Reid.

68min: YELLOW CARD - With Onyedinma breaking forward into City's half of the pitch at pace, McMahon is booked for bringing the substitute winger down with a late tackle.

65min: Cole robs Saville of the ball around the half-way line, leading a dangerous Bantams counter-attack. Evans leads the attack as Cole tries to get in a threatening position ahead of him. Eventually the Welshman plays in McMahon instead, however, and his cross is kicked away by Martin.

64min: McMahon takes aim from a couple of yards outside Millwall's penalty area but the midfielder's effort is dragged comfortably wide of Archer's far post.

62min: SUB - Millwall bring on Fred Onyedinma for Shane Ferguson.

60min: With Meredith helping to slow down O'Brien's progress, Ben Williams is able to get out to smother Gregory's forward pass into the box just ahead of Millwall's Irish attacker.

56min: After latching onto Morison's flick-on, Gregory is able to turn and run towards City's penalty area. As he reaches a couple of yards outside, however, the striker's progress is expertly stopped by a well-timed tackle from a recovering Liddle.

55min: SUB - With Craig struggling after his blocked tackle on Hanson, the defender has to be replaced by fellow centre half Byron Webster.

53min: Good hold up play from Cole on the edge of Millwall's penalty area eventually sees the ball break free into the path of Hanson. The striker takes the effort on first time but his drive is bravely blocked by a diving tackle from Craig.

50min: Joe Martin's teasing cross into the box narrowly misses a couple of bodies before Meredith has to kick behind over his own crossbar while positioned in front of his own goal.

45+1min: After Evans' long throw-in into the area is kicked clear, Liddle tries his luck on the half-volley from around twenty-five yards out and the effort loops not too far over Archer's crossbar.

41min: Shaun Williams' low corner delivery into the box is cleared by McArdle as far as the waiting George Saville, who slices an effort high and wide of Ben Williams' goal from just outside the area.

37min: Lee Evans' long throw-into the box bounces past three or four players in the six yard box before Reid sticks out a leg and diverts the rising ball narrowly over from close range.

34min: McMahon's low pass in-field finds Hanson on the edge of Millwall's penalty area and the giant striker's effort on the half-volley takes a slight deflection before flying narrowly past Archer's fingertips and out for a corner.

31min: After picking up a loose ball midway into City's half, Edwards surges forward past three Bradford players before firing over with a rising drive from just inside the area.

25min: A loose touch by James Meredith allows Aiden O'Brien to pounce on the ball before feeding Gregory into decent space inside City's penalty area. Gregory looks to charge towards the byline with menace but with a recovering Meredith breathing down his neck, the forward's touch lets him down and the ball rolls out of play.

22min: The Bantams bench all jump up as one when Cole appears to be bundled over by Tony Craig inside the area after James Hanson had cushioned a Kyel Reid cross into the striker's path. Much to the annoyance of Phil Parkinson and his coaching staff though, no spot-kick is awarded and play is allowed to continue.

14min: Carlos Edwards' long ball into the box is headed down into the mix by Steve Morison towards Lee Gregory but a pressuring Reece Burke does just enough to force the former FC Halifax Town striker to poke over first time on the stretch.

6min: Rory McArdle heads Tony McMahon's flighted free-kick delivery into the area across the six yard box but Devante Cole can't quite reach the header and Jordan Archer can eventually gather up.
