City charity group BantamsTrek, in association with supporter group Friends of Bradford City, will be hosting three special coffee mornings later this month.

In conjunction with a nationwide appeal, BantamsTrek will be running the three coffee mornings to help raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support.

The first coffee morning will take place at the George VI Pub on Bradford Road, Birkenshaw on Friday 18 September 2015 between the hours of 11:00am and 3:00pm.

The second will be held in the 2013 Suite at the Coral Windows Stadium on Friday 25 September 2015. Again, the coffee morning will go ahead from 11:00am to 3:00pm.

The third event will be at the Highfield Hotel in Idle on Sunday 27 September 2015 from 11:00am to 3:00pm as well.

BantamsTrek is a charity group set up by City kit man John 'G' Duckworth back in 2010.

Thanks to a number of charity events organised by John and his group, BantamsTrek have raised thousands of pounds over the years for MacMillan, the football club and Bradford Burns Unit.

Entry into all three coffee mornings this week will be FREE

Any person/group who would like a place for a stall or to make cakes/buns etc for any one of the three events, please e-mail for more information.

Tickets are now also on sale for Bantamstrek's MacMillan Northern Christmas Ball.

This event, which will also be held in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support, will take place at the Coral Windows Stadium on Saturday 12 December 2015.
