Scene Setter:

The Bantams are looking to make it six games unbeaten following an impressive display against early promotion favourites Sheffield United last weekend in front of the Sky cameras. Peterborough come to the Coral Windows Stadium on the back of a draw against early pace setters Walsall and it will be the first game in charge for new manager Graham Westley. City will be hoping to make it a losing start for the former Stevenage and Preston North End man.

Form Guide:

City had a poor start to the season having failed to win any of their opening 5 games to the 2015-16 season. Following defeat at home against Gillingham on 18th August, the five games that followed have returned 9 points to see a climb into the top half of the table. Ranked right up there by the bookmakers in the list of teams they think would be challenging for promotion, United had a very poor start to the season which saw Dave
Robertson face the sack. Since his departure, the Posh won emphatically at Oldham Athletic (5-1) and drew at home to Walsall (1-1), despite being reduced to 10 men when Jermaine Anderson was sent off.

Team News:

City could name an unchanged team to the one that started the game in last weekend's draw with Sheffield United. Loanee striker Luke James won't be able to play against his parent club due to a clause in his contract saying he's unable to do so. Steven Davies will be pushing for selection after scoring a brace in the reserves' 4-0 win at Morecambe during the week.

United will be forced into making at least one change to the eleven that were held by Walsall last weekend with 19 year old winger Jermaine Anderson facing suspension following his red card. Graham Westley arrived at London Road during the week and whether he keeps to the side chosen by assistant manager Grant McCann for the last two fixtures or completely changes things up remains to be seen.

Betting:

Football League Betting Partners Sky Bet have City as firm , 17/20favourites to come out on top in this one. The Bantams are priced at meaning a £10 stake would return £18.50 should Phil Parkinson's men get the
three points on this occasions.

For Graham Westley to open up his managerial account at United with a , meaning a £10 stake would return £40. The draw is priced at 3/1victory is , so the £10 stake would return £36.. James Hanson and Devante Cole are 13/5priced at 5/1 to be the 1st goal scorer in the game. Fancy Devante to score for the 4th time in 5 matches? £10 would return £60.

Star Man:

It is tough to pick out a star man in a team that has changed a fair bit  is a Marcus Maddisonsince the last time that we faced Peterborough United. talented performer who dropped into non-league after a start to a career in the professional game that never got going. A former Newcastle United academy product, Marcus currently has 5 goals in 11 appearances in all competitions and is known to be able to find the net from distance.

Following a departure from St. James' Park, he moved to Gateshead via a spell in Scotland with St. Johnstone. After scoring 13 goals in 34 league appearances for The Heed, Maddison moved to Peterborough United in August 2014.

Referee:

is the man in charge of this weekend's fixture, with Helen Paul TierneyByrne and Danny Gratton as his assistants. The Lancashire referee has refereed 7 games so far this season, dishing out 25 yellow cards and just a single red card in the process.

From the County over the other side of the Pennines, Paul's card glut this season came in a Lancashire derby between Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers at the end of last month; 8 yellow cards were handed out, as well as one red for Bolton's Dorian Dervite who was dismissed for a second bookable offence. The last City match he was in charge of was back in April as the Bantams fell to a 1-0 defeat at Gillingham, putting an end to the play-off hopes.

Last Meeting:

Our last meeting with United was at their place in February. The hosts won 2-0 to give caretaker manager Dave Robertson a winning start to his reign following Darren Ferguson's departure. After a goalless first half, Gabriel Zakuani scrambled the ball home to give his side the lead early in the second half.

City pushed for an equaliser but were undone down the other end as Michael Bostwick scored from the penalty spot in the last minute after Alan Sheehan handled Harry Beautyman's cross.
